These were the simple and strong thoughts of the founders, who had their roots in this Kongu region, that sown the seeds for the emergence of this Trust and College. Their motto of giving back to the society through youth education and empowerment had its start with formation of “Tiruppur Education and Research Foundation” in April 2005. The maiden venture of the trust was the establishment of TERF’S Academy College of Arts and Science College in June 14, 2006.
The founders wanted to reach and uplift the youth of this region with high quality education coupled with technology and social values. The college has grown over the years and has always upgraded its facilities on a continuous basis in order to provide quality education to its students. The courses offered here are carefully chosen so that the students have good employability and overall development. The areas of focus are arts, science and management. Presently, the college offers seven UG courses, one PG course, one M.Phil and Ph.D program. Here, the priority is also given to life skill development. This will make them capable of facing the future with resilience and optimism. Also, the college instills the values of respect and trust in relationship which are the foundation for real success.
